Enaex and Magotteaux

2023 World Mining Congress

The ask

The World Mining Congress invites international representatives from the world’s leading resource economies to meet, with over 140 exhibiting. Enaex and Magotteaux, both part of the Sidgo Coopers family, needed an exhibition space that made them stand out from the crowd as individual companies, while also showcasing the possibilities when they combine forces. The exhibition also presented an opportunity to promote Enaex’s commitment to ‘humansing mining’ with the congress theme of sustainability in mining.

The clever idea

An overarching theme of “One global family supporting the mining lifecycle” underpinned an end-to-end immersive experience. The exhibition booth design incorporated both brands with an animated mining lifecycle video that showcased each company’s role in the mining process, an interactive map highlighting the impact of both companies across the world, an augmented reality experience to educate delegates about Magotteaux, and an interactive touch screen display to showcase Enaex’s products, services and initiatives.

To capture potential leads and promote future conversations, a microsite was created featuring a preview of case studies that could be downloaded in full when contact details were input.

To elevate the experience even further, additional brand touchpoints included custom lego, branded merchandise and team uniforms.

The results

8.8/10 satisfaction score – captured internally by Enaex, including Magotteaux

500+ brand interactions

Positive brand sentiment – feedback confirmed the interactive touch screen was the hero of the exhibition
