The landscape

Hervey Bay is an emerging, vibrant region bursting with potential and opportunity with its Fraser Coast set to lead population growth. Revitalising the town centre, including a suite of exciting priority projects, will ensure the region continues to thrive as a desirable destination in which to live, work, visit and invest.

The clever idea

Strategically and openly connect with the community to keep them updated, and more importantly excited about the revitalisation project, an important process to safeguard and engage the region for generations to come. Thorough bespoke engagement and communications strategies we helped to unite a myriad of complex community and government stakeholders.

Serendipitously, the lines of Hervey Bay’s coastline as seen in aerial view mimic the curves of the whales the region is a famous observation point for – that was all the inspiration we needed to render a new visual identity for the project using a whale motif.
