The situation

It’s as common as going to the gym or buying groceries, but in this day and age self-pleasure is still considered a taboo subject. Global premium pleasure brand, WOW Tech needed a trusted agency partner to help navigate a highly stigmatised landscape within an Australian media and consumer landscape.

The clever idea

Strategically deliver research-backed and thought-provoking story angles throughout all touchpoints and announcements, melding product education with industry destigmatisation. In doing so, we drove ongoing positive conversations around self-pleasure and sex with WOW Tech front and center.

The results

250+ pieces of earned coverage secured in 2019-2020 spanning digital, print, radio and broadcast channels

In 2020 alone, garnered more than 67 million impressions via earned media coverage on product launches, brand initiatives and various brand partnerships

Designed and executed two highly successful media events hosted by Sabio-selected ambassadors who held an accumulative Instagram audience of over 60,000 followers

Concepted and launched the #SafePleasure Womanizer gifting campaign during a peak COVID moment which resulted in increased social media chatter and growth in organic brand advocacy

Led the media launch of the brand’s newest male pleasure range, ARCWAVE, driving numerous positive earned media placements and successful ambassador program

The next big thing.
